I was a crazy fan of Anna Sui during my teenage years. Everything Anna Sui—cosmetics, hair brushes, mirrors, dresses, towels, etc. Her signature purple + black and laces were what got me fallen head over heels for. That said, of course I would have gotten a copy of her coffee table book. Till today, even though I have transited into more of a minimalist wardrobe, I still enjoy flipping through the pages.
Henri Bendel was another upscale brand that I quite liked while living in the states. You should have seen my expression when I first learnt about Henri Bendel in LA. Subsequently, it became a must-visit whenever I mapped a boutique near me.
It was two years ago, when I lived in Paris that I got to know about the widely-raved Ladurée and well-loved Diptyque. I was introduced to Diptyque by a close friend of mine and since then, I have been a Baies-only shopper. If you are lost on what to get for gifts, Diptyque it is!
